How to prepare for UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 in 2022

The UGC NET exam is conducted every year to determine eligibility for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions in Indian universities and colleges. UGC NET Exam Pattern

Paper 1

Paper 1 tests the research and teaching aptitude of the candidate. It covers topics such as research methods, data interpretation, library and information science, communication, etc.

Paper 2

The second paper of the UGC NET exam is Paper 2. It consists of 100 objective-type questions, each worth 2 marks. The total marks for this paper are therefore 200. There is no negative marking in this paper either.
Paper 2 tests the subject knowledge of the candidate in their chosen subject area (out of a list of 84).

Total duration for both the papers is 03 hours (180 minutes) without any break. All the questions are compulsory.
